heerosferret mentioned knowing a few Japanese people that believed it, but I don't know if it spread quite as much there as it did here. My Google-fu is not so good with foreign languages, either. I really wish we could've posted it to 2ch.

Great job PK! Your work is so impressive, I am actually stunned it was fake. You got his shading down sooo perfectly. I have been following your Ken artwork since PokeFor's days, but I guess I didn't pay enough attention this time around to associate it with you because of how real I thought it was.

And Veekun, I truly did not know where the image was from. When I first got it, I was under the assumption it was from the person who sent it to me, so I watermarked it. Later on I found out it wasn't.

well, in the end, at first i only PMed about the image itself, and although i did cite the source, it was only while talking on AIM and got swept away very quickly in the fast-paced chat. its my bad for being all vague about it D: im sorry for any confusion i caused anybody D:

It's not your fault, I was so excited about the image that I didn't even see you mentioned 2ch in our IM convo. That was when we were talking about its shading, so I was talking so fast I must have pushed it out of the way. It's my fault, not yours. :p

Later on, I thought, "Hey wait, what's the source?" but you had already signed off. That's when I edited it.
