Buckbeak is now about 90% done and standing on his table at the Storybook Ball, whose doors opened ten minutes ago. He lacks eyes, talons, nostrils, and any material on his wings, but I think he looks pretty neat. Whether the people sitting and looking up at my hastily-finished sculpture will agree or not . . .
