the bar exam is over. i would be absolutely shocked if I didn't pass. Don't find out until November, though.

Moving to Alaska on Sunday.

yes! so lame, although there are ways to transfer bar membership if you move to a new state without having to take the exam again in that state. Canada is the same way, though. There is an Ontario bar, a Quebec bar, etc. The Quebec bar is supposed to be very difficult and in French and shit.

yeah but there are only two (MAYBE three) provinces worth living/doing law in, whereas there are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of states! i asked because my employer's daughter did her bar exam for new york at the same time you did, and she just found out she passed, so now she's a barrister/soliciter or something!
