The Super-Sargasso Sea is a fictional dimension proposed by weirdshitologist Charles Fort, which was a place where things which mysteriously disappear go. Fort was kind of obsessed with impossible disappearances.

I'd not heard of Charles Fort's Super Sargasso Sea before I started listening to the Tanis podcast, but once I did the first thing I thought of was Eerie's Bureau of Lost.
