Somehow I missed this one last night! Once again, I'm impressed with your Eerie worldbuilding, and the "one of those couples" line has got to be one of my favorites ever.

Everyone knows at least one of those couples, the source of much cringing when they're around and eyerolling when they;re not, and always, always the unspoken thought that "thank god thats not me"
