1994Stan Pines knew trouble when he saw it, and the guy with gray hair who was on his second tour of the Mystery Shack had a great big 'T' on him. So he was surprised when he saw him waffling between buying an ice cream bar and a small plush jackalope in the gift shop as the rest of the last tour group was drifting out. Given that Stan knew, from his own experience, anyone wearing a coat like that wouldn't hesitate to shoplift the jackalope (shoplifting ice cream bars tended to get messy) his interest was piqued

Yeah, you do. It's very much Eerie Indiana's spiritual successor. The first season is good, but the second season, oh the second season...when it isn't making you laugh your ass off, it's either breaking your heart or freaking you out.

^____^
I don't know if I'll ever continue this, but Dash's presence would change some things in Gravity Falls significantly.
[hiding behind a spoiler for those who haven't seen GF] After Dash gets over most of his wariness, Dash would seriously enjoy having a Dad, even if Stan's a little gun-shy about it. Philbrick after all was not a shining example.
There would no way Dash wouldn't find out about the Portal Stan is trying to fix and would try to help with his limited knowledge of the portal/giant tv Ned built. He also probably would make sure Stan took better care of himself. Soos probably wouldn't be so clingy to Stan, but he's still very much a part of the Pines family, his 'big brother' insists on that.
All in all Dipper and Mabel would be coming into a much healthier environment...but all bets would be off after Dippers writes to his Uncle Marshall about all the weirdness in Gravity Falls. ^_~
