So a few years ago, I started an Eerie fanfiction set in the Bureau of Lost. In the last few months I've been trying to pick up the thread of the story again, without sucess. One of the last chapters took place in a lighthouse, so on my lunch breaks I've been going up to the lighthouse near me to eat and do some writing ( Read more... )

It was hard not to get excited when Marshall logged on to his computer and saw that he had an email from Dash. So hard, even though he told himself ardently that he wasn't going to get involved in this thing that Dash was caught up in. He had too many other things to think about. Classes to complete. The clip was only 40 seconds long, but when nothing was happening it seemed like forever. On the fourth play over, he was losing interest and considering that he really needed to start working on an assignment before Carl came back and began his tuba practice for the night. omg SO AWESOME!! I love this so much, thank you! (and yes, after reading I watched it all the way through just to make sure there wasn't a figure) and now I really want to know more about dash's experiences with the scp

LOL! Every time I rewatched the video for reference I expected to suddenly see something in the doorway XD Anyway, this is part of the college verse and I totally know all of what I want to plot out for the story now, thanks to this! \o/

And now I'm reading more SCP pages and have already gone and put on the hallway lights so when I take Quicksilver to her tank in the living room before bed I don't freak myself out in the dark....

I got suckered into the SCP rabbithole a few weeks back and ended up bringing the broom into the shower room with me that night, just in case!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets messed up by this stuff. After writing this/reading a few SCPs before bed, I had a really messed up night with freaky dreams. I also probably shouldn't have been drinking before bed too... :s

Damn straight i will! I was up there.today and the bench i usually sit on has its back to the stone shack and the weather monitoring station (the green building with the antenna) and i was like, time to pop in the headphones... wait, no... stay alert...

The bees scp is one i didnt mind in winter but i regret reading it now the clover is in bloom

LOL. What's more worrying though, the SCP, or the agents that will wipe your memory if you see it?

The bees SCP? I've not read that one... I read one last night that was basically a shadowman with long fingers that tore you apart if you touched him.... My room is very shadowy........

Well hopefully theyd wipe my memory of it as a good picnic spot too, otherwise its going to get annoying for everyone to keep having to show up and erase my memories...

Its a guy who turns everything he sees into bees, and the report also has random words replaced by the word bees. It sounds dumb but it really freaked me out. The shadowclaw.man sounds horrifying tho! I still gotta make it down the hall to the bedroom... looks like ill be switching the hall light on with a broom handle again...

LoL, that could be a fic in itself...

So like the Skittles advert, but with bees? Gah, I'm always the last to bed because I apparently need less sleep than the people I live with, but they always turn off the lights that I deliberately left on when they go to bed, so I end up trying to make corridors of light with open doors between the light switches...

Thats basically it - just everyhing around youndissoving into bees. I mean, obv wasps or hornets or even something nonstinging but gross and useless like bluebottles would be worse, but still, ugh.

I have a soft spot for bees, I have to say, but even so I like when not *everything* is bees...

Bees are super cool and useful for pollination, but when everything is bees we dont actually need them...
