I just found this story, and am looking forward to the next part. I like your take on a defiant (and delusional) Caroline wanting a new start on life, and Damon's steadfast persistence. Also, yes! call Alaric. *grin* I'd love to see whether you write him knowing the Winchesters or not.

Caroline and Damon are a fun team -- esp. when she's annoyed at him. LOL And I think "Carly" will be giving Dean a run for him money too. Very interested in learning about Matt, his visit, and why he's running with Katherine! Great stuff!!
