I love the movie Equilibrium. And Christian Bale. Bleh. It gives me hope that there are perks to feeling.

As it is, I wonder who controls the world...How we act, how we feel. I don't think emotion should be allowed. I'm just another victim in the horrible game- one of lies, cowardice, misunderstanding. What's the point?

OMG I was just watching that movie a couple nights ago! It's one of my all time favorites, and I fucking love Christian Bale. He is basically my hero. I love the message it gives you, being numb could never equate the power of emotion. Ugh..Such a priceless movie. My favorite scene is when he falls to his knees in amguish and despair in front of all of the civilians. Sweetie feeling is a gift, and even though it sucks, when it's good, it's really fucking good. Sometimes I forget too...But there is a point to all the pain, I promise.
