For those of you still enjoying picture books, C's new favorite is Skippy Jon Jones by Judy Schachner. It's the story of a Siamese cat who likes to imagine that he's a Chihuahua. There are several in the series now, but the pictures are hilarious, the stories amusing and the opportunities to "do" voices are extensive.

One of the up sides to working on "Mission Statements" for several companies is that I've been able to slide "or sexual orientation" into their non-descrimination policies.
Why is it that so many technology vendors think that it's okay to walk up and down a hall talking loudly on their cell phones? This guy has been trying to sell a system to *another* school while distracting me from my work for the last 40 minutes.
