Summary - In the beginning they were born to fulfill an apocalyptic prophecy. In the end they beat that destiny together. They won, they saved the world but they lost their family. One of the angelic prophecies did come true, in the end everyone left.

Vidder Notes. - Hmmm, this vid is a strange one, the summary doesn't really do it justice, but I'm never very good with short precise summaries. It started life as a little thing about Dean's grief and the fact that in the end he has been left alone. However along the way it detoured into many things, things I'm not sure make any sense even to me. Dean's bizarre relationship with angels, from being raised by one, to loving one, to killing one and all points in between. How angels may have power to foresee one future, it's not set in stone and they can't change the past.
It's also a bit about things that seem to symbolise the holding of power. The right tool will kill an angel, another will kill a demon, a simple ring can symbolise the beginnings of family, love and commitment and yet a collection of rings will open the gate to Lucifer's cage. I guess it's not so much about the power, but who has it, who wields it and ultimately who controls it. To win Dean had to find his own will power to let Sam go, he found that in their humanity and love for each other and not in any manifestation of a physical weapon, but in the simple memories of a life shared. However, in saving the world he also lost the only thing he ever wanted to save - his own family. Now he truly is all alone.
I'm not sure you get all this from this simple little vid, but I tried and I hope you enjoy your own unique interpretation if you decide to watch. Anyway, enough of me and my waffling, bloody strewth this rambling shit is longer than the vid!
