Late-onset adolescence?

In spite of the fact that I know that it's really, really not allowed in the employee handbook, I have a compulsion to dye my hair an unnatural color.

I'll just ignore it. It's been coming and going for about 17 years now. Probably I can hold out another week.

Youth is wasted on the young for sure. Now they have these awesome dyes where when *I* was a teenager we didn't have those. By the time they were really good I was working where I couldn't have that kind of hair.

I would do it now that I'm working at home but I'm too old.
