Why's my boyfriend Paul Bettany playing so many bad guys lately? I realize he's no Brad Pitt, but surely he could take up that goofy, charming, British romantic lead mantle that Hugh Grant is getting a little pruney for, no? *sigh*

Isn't he the guy who said he was happy that Jude Law became a big star, because now he was getting roles in all of the movies that could not afford Jude Law? That cracked me up.

That definitely sounds like something he would say. Here's a quote he gave about working with Harrison Ford on Firewall: "I wouldn't want to tumble with Harrison Ford in real life. He's a tough son of a bitch. I threw that man through a window seven times and he landed on his head, got up, rebuilt the window with the crew and then got thrown through it again.
