I am in Key Largo. I have seen more life, more wild, happening-all-around-me LIFE, in the last few days than I have in the last 10 years. I have the Atlantic Ocean to one side of me and the Gulf of Mexico to the other. Every day, I wake up and am in disbelief that I'm even here. Today, I was informed that there is an 8-foot saltwater crocodile

I am so, so glad you're getting this whirlwind cross country tour and meeting some longtime internet friends. You deserve good things! I wish I'd been in a position to put you up, but while my parents couch is comfortable... heh.

We went to the Keys on vacation in 2006 and it was an amazing experience. I would love to go back but I can't afford it at the moment (it's a long way from the U.K.), but someday I hope.
