Quite a decent article on the theology of kneeling - and one that has a fair amount of utility if thinking about kneeling in a D/s or kink context as well. Found it on Fetlife and the poster was kind enough to direct me to an alternate online source.

I second the interesting comment and part of me can't help but wonder what the Pope would think of his article being used in that context. Not that it should stop you (quite the contrary), but I imagine his face would turn a rather intriguing shade of purple. . .

Almost certainly it would - and that was part of what I found so fascinating about the article itself and the context I originally found it in.

But it is a really good article that works through the psychology and spirituality that is wrapped up in the act of kneeling - and that was my primary interest.
