So on this last fire I acquired a gash on my face from a burning juniper. It looks like it's healing, but even if it doesn't there's one major positive: The cognitive dissonance that draws people's eye to my long blonde hair will now look at the scar instead. I did! I did! lol drink that is...after a long, hot day of sitting and waiting on my first assignment...I had a nice cold beer and it was good. What happened with the burning juniper? I hope you are well!

And the Juni was no real big deal; we had a wind shift and the sawyer was rocking. It must've happened while I was trying to keep up.
