P.S. Sean wants me to make clear that all the facts are not in, this is just the best info she has right now.  I'll update if I find out more.

I honestly didn't know that she was ill during the Irish Studies program. I don't recall her noticeably missing classes. And I was in her group from the first quarter.

The world still feels a bit smaller without her in it.

I had the same thought. I vaguely remember her missing, but not more than other faculty I've had.
