And now I've finished the last four prompts. So, here is more informal fic. Uh, apparently HP makes me wordy? Apart from the crossover I did for last year's go_exchange, I hadn't written it in ages.

Thank you very much! And thank you for the prompt; it was pure crack to write. I had actually once entertained the idea of THRUSH!Lucille before, but was never able to do anything with it until now.

Wow. Yeah, that's really not what I was expecting. Not that that's bad - this snippet/story is awesome. Riddle hiding what he does under the war, Dumbledore chasing him down anyway - and of course Unit 4044 would get caught up in it.

You're welcome. Yeah, I wound up going with this because I was having a lot of trouble reasoning out a way to get any canon HP characters into Korea in the 1950s. Dumbledore seemed the most likely candidate, and when trying to figure out why he'd walk into a war zone I remembered Grindelwald, his evil ex-boyfriend who operated at the same time, in the same place, as Hitler.

Of course, I suppose I could've done something involving a massive Time-Turner accident...and perhaps I will... :)

I wasn't really expecting any canon HP characters - that's why I said Harry Potter 'verse, instead. I was vaguely thinking of an AU with Hawkeye (or Sidney, or both) secretly being a wizard - nothing like this.

However, this is amazing.

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear this. Considering that I had a lot of trouble with Snape the last time I tried to write him (for the any-random-crossover meme; the crack involving House that you asked for was pretty much the only Snape ficlet that wasn't hard) -- yeah, "perfect Snape" is a very high compliment indeed.

even if he just hoped to be her friend after the war, he wouldn't know where to start.

Yes. Exactly. Poor Snape. Even if he'd lived, I doubt this pairing could have ever worked, but I enjoy it nevertheless.
