Edmund has decided to lay down under a shady tree outside. He's more awake than alseep but his eyes are closed and he looks very relaxed with his arms and his hands up behind his head.

Katharine was on the other side of the tree with a book of poetry, but she's finished. She passes him as she goes to return it to the Mansion library.

"Read prose," she answers with a smile. "I go on walks and cook and go to the movies, and the theater when I can."

"Sounds nice. May I ask where you're from? I'm from England."

"I'm from Toledo, Ohio."

[edmundpevensie]

"I've never been there. Is it nice?"

[poetickatharine]

"It's all right."

[edmundpevensie]

He smiles and relaxes back again. "It's nice out here too."

[poetickatharine]

"The Mansion is nver boring. And I've been to some interesting places before."

[edmundpevensie]

"Never boring?" He sounds disbelieving. "I've been bored here many, many times..."

[poetickatharine]

"And what do you do?"

[edmundpevensie]

"Well.... not much. I tries exploring but there's not much to find... What have you been doing here that is so exciting?"

"It's other people and what they do that's so interesting."

[edmundpevensie]

"What have they been doing?"

[poetickatharine]

"Coming, going, building things, doing magic."
