Slightly weird things to drive by on your way back from work: The (parked) Goodyear blimp.

Also, this is completely un-betaed, so it likely is quite terrible, but it's late and I'm tired, so here, it goes along with An Echo of Thunder and Fires the Mountainside, only it's Donald this time. It takes place during KH2, like the previous two, only ( Read more... )

The Donald fic! <3333 It is awesome.

a king who is giving serious consideration to child-stealing.
Probably shouldn't have laughed as much as I did. ...And yet.

The picture he painted of Della he painted for the triplets
This is the only off thing I noticed--the repetition of 'he painted' so close together.

And as, per usual, is finished and posted a hideously long while after it was first started!

Mickey has a few things in common with Ansem and Maleficent!

Ack, and here I thought I caught most of my mistakes. TY BB!

Tsk tsk tsk.

Those are clearly some pheromones that Riku gives off. They even affect Mickeys! That says something.

I yam what I yam.

It is kind of amazing, in a trainwreck-y sort of way. (Hide, Riku! Hide foreverrrrrrrrr!)

It is rather charming that you said "consistently" as if I actually write in any sort of timely manner.

But no, I would not mind at all!

oh holy cow this. (Yes, I am BACKLOG READING like a DEVIOUS HARRIDAN XD)

I love this line so much: (Of the three of them, Donald has always been the most cynical, and of the three of them, he is the darkest, but a mage must know balance above all things, and destroying the darkness is just as foolish as destroying the light.)

I mean, I am so glad I'm not the only one whose mind goes there in re:: KH, and I fully admit it's because of an old Sailormoon manga translation I don't even know is accurate--"Where there is light, there is darkness the light calls to the darkness, and the darkness calls again to the light." Too much of one or the other is blinding; balance in all things is the key. I tend ti imagine a succession of balance upsets in the KH-verse that leads to keyblade wars and worlds going kaput.

ANYWAY my god I love your stuff and your Donald is awesome. XD

:D I approve of your DEVIOUS HARRIDAN-ing!

That is totally also what I think has happened in the KH-verse! Words get nommed by darkess, worlds get nuked by light, and then there are places like the keyblade graveyard. Empty. Forever. --also I think I know which bit of the SM manga you're referring to. Something about the Nehellenia (or whatever the proper Romanization is) arc, methinks?

Writing for Donald is fun. I am really digging writing from all of the grownups' povs.
