I started experiencing really bad headaches on Wednesday last week, getting worse through the weekend, but that appears to be a sinus infection of some sort. It's bloody painful and ... bloody. Lots of blood clots. I'm running a cheap humidifier in the bedroom now, but the headache shoots right through the Vicodin I'm taking for my back. That's one

Hrm. Well, if nothing else, Zithromax is broad spectrum and would hopefully take care of anything you might be cultivating in that knee, in addition to zapping your sinusitis. Bad thing is that if the knee is indeed infected and the bug isn't susceptible to Zithro? You won't be able to do cultures after abx are on board. Hopefully your DO is right and it's just inflammation. *gentle hugs*

I do have a neti pot (Jim Baen was a huge fan of them and talked me into it years back), which I used a couple of times.

Because it's all, well, open and bloody -- you think just warm water will help? Cause I really can't do the salt-water thing. OMFG that would hurt. What do you think?

Oh lord. I had an awful time with my sinuses last year. The only thing that helped them was one of those sinus rinses--like a squeeze bottle with a salt/baking soda solution.
