Well, the MRI and X-rays taken a few weeks ago at the Neurospine Insitute of Hell (not going back there -- oh, happy day!) were read by my neurologist this morning, and he walked me through them, since he knew I'd looked at MRIs and loads of X-rays before (and my husband is the son of a teaching doctor at Temple, etc. etc ( Read more... )

what relief to have irrefutable confirmation ! that's great. well... not great that you're discs really are a mess, but great that the mri showed it so clearly that noone can tell you that it's all in your head.

Thank you! Yeah, it's a relief that for the (luckily few) detractors, I can point to the MRI and go, "Yeah -- look at THIS." :)

i'm happy and sad for you? jeez. diagnoses and plans are good things, and i'm so glad that you're getting confirmation and help for your pain. hope things get better on this front really damn soon.

Yes, just finally getting the damn diagnosis is soooo good. I hope they can get some PT and that nerve test scheduled soonish. In the meantime, I've been eyeing Wii Yoga. But I'm thinking a good yoga DVD would do me just as well (I used to do Hatha Yoga back in my teens and 20s).
