RIP Tom Deitz

I just heard that author Tom Deitz has died.

His fantasy books meant quite a lot to me in the 80s, and I was continually impressed by his work in the field. So sad. And too young, by far (in his 50s). Dammit.

Holy crap, now *that* is a shock -- you're right, he was far, far too young! :( I grew up reading the Windmaster's Bane series . . . So sad!

FYI, though, I don't know what is going on with your page, but it is nearly impossible to read the greyscale lettering against the blue and grey background.

Yes, I did change my layout, but the lettering is black against a very light gray, so I have no idea what you're seeing that's so impossible to read.
