My deepest sympathies, I'm so sorry you've been stuck with the next "Twilight"...

No no no no no. Twilight might be stupid and juvenile, but at least it has vampires. Idiotic vampires, but vampires all the same.

I pray for vampires. It would improve this text immeasurably.

Though this book does seem to suck.

Worse than Sparkly Emo Vampires? ... Oh dearest merciful gods...

(If only you COULD pitch out the nearest airlock...)

hrmmm. I wonder if what it might take to bribe cajole you into beating the run-on sentences out of me with the current manuscript...

Stranger things have happened. :) Write to me (if you've lost the address, just write to editrx at livejournal dot com and it forwards to my regular mail). Your sentences are surely just fine, I'll bet. And if they aren't, we can beat them into submission through applications of chocolate.

I've been very quiet about my Doctor Who fic, but if you'd like to read any of it, you can find it at http://scarlett-key.livejournal.com/

Oo. Why didn't I know you were writing this?! (And why am I somehow not surprised...)

Heh. You have that icon. Heh.

You didn't know because, like I said, I've been pretty quiet about it. Hope you enjoy it: comments are love. ::grin:: Haven't written anything since the end of the most recent season, but I suspect there will be more coming soon. Ideas have been brewing....

Put down the red pencil and walk away. Just walk away. No throat-slitting allowed!

Better now?

*tosses a paragraph in your direction*

Rose ignored the blast of icy wind that knocked her hood from her head as she tried to swallow around the lump in her throat. She hesitantly reached out a hand to him, but the Doctor suddenly flung his arms around her, clutching her to his chest with panicky tightness, burying his face in her hair and the collar of her parka. Her mittened fingers dug into the back of his coat, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't hold him any tighter. "Doctor, I don't... " she began, but found that she couldn't continue because his lips were in the way, pressing urgently against her own. She broke the kiss to find him staring at her with a dumbfounded expression on his face, and her mouth tingled from what had not been, as far as she knew, a barrierless kiss.

*grins*

And so NOT! A PARAGRAPH?! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!

(Damn good snippet, too, lady. "Barrierless kiss" -- and I know what that means in your universe. Arrrrrggghhhhh! More? When? :) )

I tried! *runs away*

I'll leave the paragraph at that. Strange things are afoot - you'll find out what is going on soon enough. *grins*
