Oh, to dance again!

I just found out, while catching up with Spider Robinson, that his wife Jeanne, will be going up on a Zero-G Corp flight (blog about the event), lifting off from Los Vegas this Sunday. She and her dancer will be performing a piece Jeanne choreographed to work in zero G, microgravity.

I never danced well, but I did enjoy some forms of dance - belly dance among them. For some strange reason in 1994 I lost the ability to stand (actually move) on my toes or balls of my feet. Coupled with my own arthritis (which I could belly dance with), movement is problematical at best.

Yes, zero-G would be a joyous experience for we who deal with aching joints and wonky balance.
