Why are so Many Great Actors Always in Lousy Films
I notice that some actors choose very good roles and all their films are quite good, while other very good actors choose not so good roles and have not one great film to their credit. "Unknown" was the Best Film of Last Year, and the Oscars Snubbed It
"Unknown" was a superb film, yet it was not nominated for any Oscar Sunday night. Actully there were few good films last year, and most nominated for 2012 were really not Oscar quality films. The Oscars was Entertainer, But Few Good Films Last Year
Last year was not a good one for the movie world. Movies were so bad and there were like no good movies, to the point mediocre movies were nominated for the "Best Picture" category. The Movie "Ides of March" is Flat
"The Ides of March" was not all it could have been. Here, we have a good idea about a politician running for election, but the plot and minor plot were not dynamic. The plot pretty much was one of the candidates (George Clooney)'s campaign aide speaking to the man in the opposition campaign and getting fired. The Movie "Anonymous" - A Critique by Published Author, Screenwiter, Editor Elaine North.
Anonymous is quite good. It shows that a royal and not Shakespeare wrote all those great plays. Shakespeare in the movie is a buffoon like actor. We Need Good Films Today!
Today's movies are not very good, like they were in the 1970s. There is a great need for good screenplays. I am an editor, screenwriter and published writer who writes great books and screenplays, which Hollywood certainly needs, and I surely expect to sell all my screenplays soon.
