I need sweet silence, too.

But ARGH! I also miss all those diaries, letters, notebooks and lost wishes/dreams/crushes/angst that I let go in an effort to "grow up" and, alas, I'm just as immature without them (and lacking all that gorgeous material as well). Drat.

I've tried listening to music while writing and I do okay but I prefer the quiet sounds of my backyard . . . the sound of water from my koi pond and the tinkling of the brass wind chime in the afternoon breeze.
