Why does no one believe me when I tell them that Under Siege is Steven Seagal's good film?

I don't know. Did you have your fingers crossed? Did your eyes look up and to the right when you said it, and refuse to meet their eyes?

More seriously, I think it might be one of the films that does basically everything right so is very enjoyable, but doesn't trigger any of the "greatness" neurons, so when you first see it you think "that is quite fun", but ten years later you think "that is still quite fun. You know, I can't think of anything better, it really is the best film of its type."
