you could try the Edinburgh University forums: http://eusa.ed.ac.uk/forum

Lots of students normally want to short-let their room out till September so they can go home etc. Worth a try anyway!

Hi there, We have a spare room in our flat that we were thinking of renting out short-term.

It's a double room in a non-smoking flat in Morningside. The flat is gorgeous, we're really lucky to have found it. It has all mod-cons!
