I love the floral skirt with the layers of fluffness underneath, the lolita-y striped tights, and the metallic cropped, shrunken jacket. I think the proportions are perfect and the colors are sweet without being saccharin.

I agree that the colors are perfection, and didn't notice how the pattern combinations came together so well. I'm not a fan of the proportions, but you've opened my eyes to the rest. ;)

it looks like they took the jacket from a marines dress blues and gave it fluffy shoulder pads. i am also convinced she stole the skirt print from her deceased grandmother's bed linens. or a six year old girl. either way, i guess i don't see the beauty in it. or is some girl militia taking over the fashion world?

I'm usually so fearful of color like this, but I think with the fit and the a-line-ness of the skirt, it would be REALLY flattering.
Plus, I've been craving poofy things lately.
