Nevertheless, I'm really tired of hearing nothing but NO from him. My old political science professor used to talk about the "positive response". When you're arguing against something, if you don't have something to propose as an alternative, you have no place in the debate. It's like telling the DJ to "play something else" without offering anything you'd like to hear.
It's easy to say no again and again until your vocal cords give out, and then hold up a big sign that says NO. But if he thinks everyone in government (and everyone that agrees with anyonein government) is so stupid, and he obviously does, else he wouldn't call them Retardicans and Dumbocrats, why doesn't he come up with something better?

I agree! I would have liked to hear ANYTHING from him but his attacking me with "you didn't even read it, did you" or other likewise questioning. It didn't matter how I answered that... the outcome (of us never agreeing) would have been constant.
