I always do this thing, relating songs and ships, thinking what scenes could represent some lines from lyrics, I think about this a lot. And this song reminded me of Sawyer/Kate from the first time I've read the lyrics before listening to it, like it was a poem. And listening to it in a loop while reading their best fanfiction out there, cemented this song as my skate song. My favourite part is the one about the demons from the past, the scenes are really in parallel, even the way they were filmed: when Sawyer confronted the boar that represented his demons, Kate was there, in the background, looking at him; when Kate saw her black horse, Sawyer was there, in the background, looking at her.
I wanted to do a picspam like it was the Muse video with them, with the lyrics taken from it.
