Characters: Christopher Pike, Open
When: 12:48 AM September 28th
Where: The River
Rating: PG-13
Description: Pike hated calls in the middle of the night, this one was no exception

"Sir, we received word of a woman's body washed up on the banks of the river under the bridge. Some passers by spotted it when coming home from a bar." Came the voice of his detective from the phone.
"Alright, I'll be there in fifteen, no one touch it."
"Yes, Sir."

Pike hung up the phone and pulled on the nearest pair of jeans and a black jacket. This call was his own fault. Lieutenants rarely got the middle of the night calls, but after what happened to CSI Barrows, he wanted to be informed of everything that happened.

He met the other officers at the scene. A body washing up on the shore wasn't something all that unusual, it's happened more and more often lately, most of the time the crimes weren't even committed in The City, but this one was obviously different.

The woman looked to be in her twenties or so, longer brown hair, and wearing nothing but a shirt that matched the description of the evidence Tonia found in the perp's apartment a few days earlier. Now every bit of evidence was ruined thanks to the river water. Wonderful, just what Pike needed.

"Get her up here, and find out who the hell she is." The Lieutanant barked out to the now assembled diving team.
