Raise paused as Praise spoke, the thought bubble repeating his words for all to see. Above Praise's comment was what looked to be a small dissertation of Raise's inner thoughts, but they all dissapeared as his attention was roused.

"...Ah?" A very intelligent thing to say as he glanced up to look at what looked to be a giant... Uh..

...

Alligator?

Raise ordinarily would have called out to greet the man he had spoken to in the journals ("That's not a man," Praise's bubble corrected his thoughts) but with his thoughts on full display like this... Well, no. That would have been perfectly fine. But with Praise's thoughts on full display like this... He didn't want another encounter like his one with Bastet.

{Fucking pussy, Raise. It's a rare fucking oddity. Let's go stare at it. Maybe I can try and get him into doing Dinosaur rides again-}"You will not!" Raise ( ... )

At the sharp voice, Scales' eyes opened and he sat up, glancing around for the source of the voice. Crossing his arms across his chest, he arched an eyebrow-ridge at the dark-haired man standing in his sunlight. His eyes flickered up towards towards the thought bubble, which had two different thoughts in two different sizes with two distinctly tones.

(The asshole with two halves?) He considered, and then stretched out again, hands resting behind him, tail still on the grass. "Hey," he said, waving and then back to leaning on his hands. "Nice weather, eh?"
(I hope this guy gets out of my sun soon.)

He glanced over at Scales, eyes widening. The first thing he noted was that it was distinctly a reptile of some kind. And that he was huge. Raise had thought himself tall, but Scales definitely had a full foot or more on him. "Er..." he lifted a hand cautiously, awkwardly returning the wave. So long as Scales wasn't calling him out on the argument with himself, he could do this. "Y-yes. I was just.. ah.. walking." He nodded.

{He thinks I'm a prick. I'm fucking proud of that. You read that damned entry? The guys just some iguana bitchtits with a complex. I want to start dinosaur rides, since we're broke all the time.}

Raise nearly face-palmed at how... chatty Praise was being. But, he would continue to try and be polite, simply side-stepping to move out of the way of the sunlight. "Have you been alright?"

Giving Raise's thought-bubble another dubious look and glancing down at his chest, he smiled at the sun and then looked back at the guy. "Don't worry about it, I've dealt with a number of assholes before."

This might have been a lie, but whatever. "I've been all right, I guess. Bored, a lot of the time, not gonna lie. I think I'm gonna check out some of the other islands maybe in a little bit. Now I'm just hanging out."
