[Kagerou echoes Axel's dismay, her shoulders hunching up tight and her hands curling around each other. Still, she's gone through this shock once. She can steer through it, even if clumsily. Her voice is small, but it holds as she continues.]

That's what he said. That we were Fugue's fictions, and that he wanted to... force Fugue to face the fact that he killed Renée. He seems to think it'd put an end to the Sphere, and... to all of us, too.

[Her head snaps up.] I think he's full of nonsense. Well, not all the way, but if he thinks I'm going to just let him unmake us, he-he's definitely got another thing coming.

Gai said the same as you. And I say the same, too. We're here. We have our own minds, and we make new memories, you know? And new friends and families. It doesn't make sense. [Her expression gentles; it helps to be reminded of everything she holds precious in this place.]

[Axel's mind is kind of reeling. Unmake? How is that even possible? Someone can be hurt, captured, even killed, but unmade? He can't even quite wrap his head around it. He casts his gaze to his notes briefly and then meets Kagerou's eye.]

Sounds like maybe I need to push the timeline up a bit... [A hand moves to his chin and he frowns at her.] Did he say anything else or did he spend the whole time trying to convince everyone they're figments of a spoiled child's sick imagination?

[Kagerou sighs, drooping forward to drop her forehead against her hand. It's still dizzying to pace through Locke's revelations.]

Umm. He told us how Renée died, and how the Sphere was born. And I think his plan is to corner Fugue so he can't just die and be reborn without his memories again. I... don't know just how he means to do that.

Anyway. He was definitely looking for support, though I don't think he found very much.
