Tian arrived right on time, dressed in his usual clothes and his hair tied back in a braid - and now with a dao at his side. He had taken his time to choose which blade to bring, but he felt that after the zombie invasion, he was more comfortable with the dao rather than the katana. (Why the dao he had received during the invasion had cars as reliefs, he'd never understand. This one was at least unadorned, sans for the red tassel.)

"Daitou," he said, watching the man's fluid movements as he was warming up. Tian could already see the skill the man possessed, even with a training weapon and simple exercises. "Good afternoon."

Daitou managed to contain the startled twitch at the sound of the screen sliding open, and finish the kata - he really was a bit on edge right now. He relaxed a little at the sight of the dragon on the other side, though - he'd been waiting. He dropped the point of the practice sword down to the ground, and gave Tian a low, formal bow, before looking back up with a smile. "Tian-dono - good afternoon."

Tian nodded slightly in return to the bow, and then stepped inside the dojo. Walking closer to Daitou, he rolled his shoulders slightly to loosen up a bit, and then eyed the practice sword with a disdained look. It seemed a bit familiar, so he had probably held one before - but it would pose no danger whatsoever to him. It would not even hurt due to his scales. It seemed unfair.

"Rules?"

Daitou grinned, just a little - not quite so friendly it normally was, either. "I usually go until someone gives up or gets too hurt to continue... usually the first." He was not going to mention the incident with Hawk - he had a little too much pride for that.

"Do you have a preferred set of rules?"
