Veda had spotted the man on his way to buy food. Like Aim, but his eye caught subtle differences in the way the man carried himself, the angles of his face. Aim's brother, then? Gene, Grift had called him. That lurching feeling in the pit of his stomach was there too, though - the feeling he had around Aim. Why? What was he missing? What was so important about them, and what exactly was this feeling he had around them?

The best course of action for the moment seemed to be observation. Food could wait - he slipped away from the booth he had been at, into the crowd, and started following Gene.

00 held Haro-san in a cloth bag on top of some sewing supplies and new work clothes. The bot seemed determined to comment on every shop they visited, so keeping his eyes hidden seemed like the best option at the moment. Requesting him to stop seemed ineffective, but he did remember everything she needed to buy and wanted to get out of the house--

She stopped when she saw purple hair. Aurora. Lithium. Tieria. 00 had not met the second, but she had worked with Aurora and had spoken to Tieria in Adstringendum. He had seemed... unhappy. And beyond Veda, 00 could see Gene-1.

Were they going to interact? 00 began to follow Veda at a distance, reaching into her bag to shift things so that Haro-san would be able to see. "Haro-san, please pay attention to the man with purple hair, pink sweater, and glasses," she whispered. It was easy to lose sight of people in the Bazaar, especially for someone 1.5 meters. "Understood! Understood! Monitoring fairy!" But Haro spoke at the lowest volume, so 00's only worry was what he meant by 'fairy' as she ( ... )

Dinner today should have consisted of the baked chicken Stellaris was supposed to have cooked with Gai today. However, the oven incident demanded a change of plans, so after parting with the ninja, she went to the Bazaar looking for things she could quickly fix into night meal. And while there, perhaps she could also pick up some bargain-bin socks for Shizuko.

On the way to the grocer's, the sight of a familiar blue-haired petite figure down the alley stopped her. She was about to say hi, but noticed that the girl seemed... unusually focused. 00 spoke to something that looked purple and circular in her bag, which Stellaris could only identify as Haro-san, the rude one. Somehow, this spectacle piqued her curiosity, and instead of calling, she decided to get closer and maybe find out what 00 had been observing.

Stellaris began to walk, or more like tip-toe, and approached from 00's 8 o'clock direction.

Having brought Haro to work had kept Lockon thoroughly entertained throughout the morning. Things went by quite quickly when he stopped sporadically to tell Haro what he could do to help him, and then watch him fumble slightly as his little robot arms carried out human tasks with determination. By the time he realized he was hungry, it was a bit past his normal lunch break, but it was no matter. He threw on his coat to grab a bite from a food vendor, so he could bring it back and eat while watching the counter ( ... )

While all the parties involved started falling in behind one another, Gene remained largely oblivious. Once he reached his destination he put on a winning smile and approached the proprietor of the booth ( ... )
