Argent had gotten out of the house a bit slower than he would have liked. Lucy seemed distressed, and he would've liked nothing better than to take off instantly to go see her. But sometimes proper cheer up parties required proper preparation, so it had taken a little bit of time to get organized ( ... )

She glanced over at the door, wondering if it was Argent or not. Not too many people came to visit her so she generally left the door locked. Edensphere was a friendly enough place but something inside of her just said to play it safe. She crawled off her bed, feet landing on the floor as she walked through the small piles of debris to open the door.

Argent smiled down at Lucy as she opened the door. Though her smile looked a tad shaky and fragile, he was pleased to see it there all the same. He walked into the room and took a little survey around. It did look as though another natural disaster had occurred her, but he kept his smile serene. If she was as upset as she sounded the last thing she needed was to be thinking about the cleanliness of her domicile. Besides, some of the destruction almost looked intentional, as if it had been a way of venting her distress.

"I hope you don't mind me bringing along a guest with me," he said, with a short nod to the pot, which was now emitting plaintive mewling noises. "I thought the two of us together might be able to brighten your mood with a bit more ease."

Lucy grabbed the pot conveniently pressed into her hands as she looked up at Argent curiously before the mewing started up anew. There were stranger things in the fishbowl that had interesting effects on all of them but there was something about a kitten poking its tiny head to stare at you that just made a person smile. The blue eyed, cream coloured kitten stared at her innocently as she marched the pot, tea towel and cute little bundle of fur into her home and placed the pot on the table ( ... )
