Lix was a little overwhelmed by the place he'd been born into. It was a struggle to try to determine whether anything was normal or not without recalling anything to use as a reference point for 'normal'. He was fairly sure the dancing was out of the ordinary, at least.

Not that he minded it. Aside from the worry that he was going to find himself dancing off the edge of what seemed to be the world (or, at the very least, the edge of something that was above what appeared to be a long, long drop) he was quite enjoying the dancing and was a little disappointed when the music released its hold on him.

Oh well, back to doing what he was supposed to be doing (he hadn't quite worked out what this was yet. But figuring out where everything was at least felt productive). He didn't notice until Krile spoke that he was being stared at and before he could answer the music started again.

"Hello. Sorry about this!" He said cheerfully, taking Krile's hand and starting to dance.

Despite everything, Krile couldn't help but giggle at Bartz's reaction to the unintended dance invitation... somehow it seemed just like him, even though the memories of him were brief. She twirled around and then stepped back as the dancemaster called another instruction. Krile was sure that do-sa-do couldn't be a real word, but her feet seemed to know what they were doing. "That's okay. Edensphere does this kind of thing a lot."

The twirl away from him gave her a second to think about what she would say next. Well, why not just start with the basics. "My name is Krile," she said, hoping that he would be able to hear it. She had seen people complain about names being blurred out or covered up--but it was her name, not his, so maybe it would be all right. "You're new here, right? What'd you call yourself?"

Lix blinked at the loud 'Kweh' he heard when the girl introduced herself. That was a fairly odd name. Then again, he was in no position to decide what sounded strange and what didn't and he didn't want to offend her. He nodded, smiling. "Sure am! Nice to meet you, Kweh, I'm Lix."

Now it was Krile's turn to blink. "My name's not kweh, silly! That's--"

--right. She sighed as she went into a promenade, which apparently meant walking around in a strange angle. If he couldn't hear her name, then she would just have to tell him the one she'd chosen for herself way back when. "You can call me Cara. When did you get here?"

And what would she say next? Hello, Lix, did you know that we fought a terrifying evil entity named Exdeath together? Alongside a woman with pink hair and another person who I'm only pretty sure is a woman? Oh, and there was this silly old fool, too--

It was only a little bit of information, scraps and curtailed segments of what had to have been a very long journey. But now it seemed like too overwhelming a story to tell. Especially to someone that ought to know how it went already.
