Screaming. Something had screamed. Whatever it was was enough to pull Composer out of his light sleep, eyes flashing open and him getting up, discarding sleep like a blanket. There was light, and he went towards it, worry growing the longer he did not know what it was that had screamed.

00 was there, in the light, rubbing her head. "00? Are you alright?" Had she screamed? It had sounded feminine...

00 looked around at Composer. Was she all right? She didn't know. She didn't seem to have sustained any serious hurt--her waist still felt sore and she could still feel where she had hit the wall, but there was no dizziness, bleeding, or disabling pain.

"I'm not injured," she said. Had he seen or heard what had happened? The entity?

The frown stayed on his face. She would say that. Injured was one thing, alright another entirely. "I heard screaming." It wasn't an accusation, just a statement. "Sounded like it could have been you." If she had fallen or something, perhaps she needed ice on it to ward off bruising. Still, that didn't feel right as to what would make her scream.

00 still couldn't be sure how to answer the 'all right' question when it was asked of her, even after seeing and hearing others answer it without hesitation both on the journals and in-person. She wondered how it could be so automatic, when the phrase seemed to have a different meaning in each individual situation.

He had heard it, then. "There was a monster in the cabinet," she explained. "It used my voice to speak, and then screamed when I turned the light on." The unpleasant sensation of fear that had been lying dormant bloomed in her stomach again. Why there? she wondered briefly. More importantly, why had it returned at all? The entity was gone; the creatures were known to be physically unthreatening. Why did she still feel this?
