Characters: Cookie, Spear, and Reed Date/Time: Sometime Thursday Location: Section 3 Rating: PG for more destruction! Summary: Another house falls victim to Cookie's fun
It was still early, but Spear was up and moving around as best as she could. She had had some time to adjust to what she hoped was her new, temporary form, but even so, she was still prone to tripping on occasion.
Little did she know that danger was lurking on her doorstep. She had no idea anything was out of the ordinary, until the front door was blasted away by a huge sheet of fire, knocking her over in the process.
She got back to her feet, a little more slowly than was normal, wishing she'd thought of some way to defend herself while in the extremely odd body the Sphere had given her.
With whatever was outside her house destroying it, she doubted she could actually escape. But being small was an advantage, and even though she wasn't exactly quick, there was the chance that she could run away unnoticed.
Thankfully, Reed's new shape was no impediment to his duties- in fact, its unique skills may have even been a blessing. And finding his duties of more importance than appearances, he was just as willing to make his rounds in the form of this familiar female knight.
This morning his duties brought him through the Section 3 residences; and his peaceful patrol soon turned grave as the scent of burning timber caught his senses. He immediately broke into a sprint, following it until its source met his eyes.
Where a strange turtle... thing was breathing flames onto some unfortunate building. It took him a moment's pause to recover from the strange sight

Cookie stared at the newcomer for a moment. This very hairy creature was telling him to surrender? As if. Cookie only bowed to his prince, not some twiggy hairy creature. And even worse yet, this dunderhead decided it was a good idea to call Cookie a fiend. Cookie was a proud... uh... well he wasn't sure what he was but he was absolutely certain a fiend was not the answer. He was evil and nefarious. He wouldn't deny those qualities.
His stare shifted to a large grin showing off his set of rather large sharp teeth as he let out a hearty laugh. "Surrender? I don't think so, hairy creature!"
Spear had moved closer to the now-ruined doorway, hiding with her back to the wall, looking outside now and then, hoping to find some chance of escape. What she didn't expect to hear was someone running, and then shouting orders at the thing that was destroying her house.
She listened as the monster roared back angry retorts. Spear peered around the doorway again, and saw that a long-haired woman was standing outside; she did not appear familiar, but with all the switching and changes going on, Spear assumed that this person was a regular resident of the Sphere in a different form.
But the identity of the would-be rescuer ceased being an important point to Spear, as she realized the flames from the initial attack were beginning to spread into the house itself. She would have to escape, and quickly.
No. Now was not the time to let himself be distracted. He held his blade aloft, his eyes narrowing in determination. He had no quarrel with taking this one by force- a thought that surprised even him. "So be it!"
His hands redoubled their grip on his blade. Somehow, the motions and flow of energies came crystal clear to his mind; ones he knew he'd seen before, but never from such a perspective. He raised the blade for a swing... yet planted his feet sturdy upon the ground, keeping his distance.
But, when his sword slashed the air, its swing was a thunderous crack, and the air lit into arcs of flame that crashed down from above; for a split second he could have swore he saw a titanic blade erupt from the impact point, but it faded just as quick as the lightning. He only hoped the beast's odd, spiky shell was no impediment to the blow...
