"Bastet-dono !"

Unohana was glad that she had stumbled upon who she was coming to see right away. It wasn't that she wasn't interested in this other world, but just like the other couldn't afford to stay and maybe remain stuck in Astringendum, she too had limited time there. Not having to look for this world's Shihouin Yoruichi was a bonus.

"Just the person I was looking for. Someone from Adstringendum told me you wished to see me, but you had already left by the time the message came to me. I was still hoping we could meet, so I left my Clinic in the hands of someone capable to come up here."

She smiled gently.

"Have you learned anything new since last time ?"

Bastet nodded. "Sasuke, right? I asked him to take me to see you first, but then I found out that the other me and Kisuke were there." She chuckled. "So we detoured." Hopefully Kisuke would show up soon--it had been days since she'd asked after him.

She adjusted the rug beneath her arm. "I have, thankfully," she replied. "How about I show you around a little while we talk?" She gestured towards one of the bridges leasing off the floating island on which they now stood. "I'm sure this is different from what you've gotten used to."

"Gladly, Bastet-dono. And no, I must say I've never seen anything quite like that."

She thought about Adstringendum as she had first arrived, how alien it had felt to her ... and how quickly it had become normal.

"Was there anything in particular you wished to tell me, or was this only a social call ?"

same, and then weekend distracted me XD

Bastet turned towards the rope bridge to Wellspring Island; despite Unohana's placid appearance, she had no doubt the other woman would manage just fine.

"No, not really," she said. "I was just wanting to check in and see how you were doing." It was rare for anyone to stay in Edensphere as long as Bastet had, and she wondered if it was the same in Adstringendum.

As they stepped off the bridge onto the other island, they were greeted with the sight of a well-groomed lawn and various medicinal plants lining a brick walkway. At the end of the walkway was a concrete building with glass double doors.
