Arthur was sitting on the couch, trying desperately to tune out his raving fans so he could concentrate on figuring out everything he saw in his memory when Locket walked in, demanding to know what was going on.

"Before you go jumping to any conclusions, I didn't do anything," Arthur said, apparently reading her mind. "It's just, well, you know how weird stuff is supposed to happen when you find a memory crystal? Yeaaaaaah."

The reploid blinked at his explanation. Well, that was true... a lot of strange things have happened after she started remembering things. Her legs moved before she could realize it, closing some of the blinds for a little privacy and sitting next to him on the sofa. Her face felt a little warm as she folded one leg over the other, a shoulder bumping against his in some bizarre, uncharacteristic body language to what Arthur was accustomed to.

Locket didn't seem to notice. "Are these women friends of yours? I recognize a few of them from my patrols, and I've never seen them this ... frenzied," she said, lifting an obscured eyebrow and glancing to the door. She really hoped none of them would get the idea to bust her door. Rent in Section Four was high enough without needing to buy a new one.

Arthur raised an eyebrow at Locket as she sat down next to him on the couch. Right next to him. Maybe she'd been affected by...nah, that couldn't be it, right? She was a robot after all. Best not to worry about it. Still, his heart beat a little faster in spite of himself.

"No, not exactly. Never met them before. I just went outside to try to clear my head and BAM! They were on me like a pack of vicious, rabid squirrels. I even tried taking off my mask to scare 'em off. Almost seemed to make them come after me more, the freaks."

A sudden thought came to Arthur, and he turned to face Locket suddenly, leaning in close, his face anxious. "You don't think this will last too long, do you? I mean, they won't find a way in here, will they? We might need to barricade the door!"

"Well, it doesn't look like they want to hurt you, but everybody needs a little privacy." You know. Despite not giving Arthur some personal space... for some reason. Why was she feeling so jittery, so excited?

The Navigator frowned at the mention of removing his mask. She had a pretty good idea that he didn't like showing his face, and only had a glance at it herself. She herself was a little shy, not self-conscious, but she knew how hard it was to hide. A small sound of surprise left her throat, face turning a cherry shade when he leaned in reeeal close - gosh she'd never get used to that habit of his - and suggested barring the door.

"I-I've never seen anything like this last too long, but they're banging pretty hard on the door..." Did she really just put an emphasis on the word 'hard'? What on earth was wrong with-- ... oh no.

Come on, Locket, focus! She nodded. "We'll go with your plan. I'll check the locks on the windows."

"Right, good idea," Arthur said, getting to his feet and then reaching down to help pull Locket up.

"Actually, first, maybe you could help me drag this couch in front of the door? And maybe we should set up some traps or something. I could probably rig a tripwire to something. Preferably something explodey."
