The sudden absence of anything solid beneath his feet in the dream resulted in the boy awaking with a startled gasp. An odd fogginess settled over his mind, keeping him strangely calm as he just barely made out what was around him. Curiously, he reached a hand out, curiosity sparked even more at the resistance he felt against his palm. With his other hand added, he pushed harder at whatever it was blocking his way. Was the tree with all the pretty flowers still out there?

The wall of the cocoon gave way, and the brunette boy tumbled out. For a minute he did nothing, first because of confusion, then because of the cold, and then in the effort to get some of the weird goop off of himself while staring at Cross. "Wha--?"

Congratulations, Cross, you have a sedated very groggy looking little brown haired kid staring at you questioningly.

Allen stepped forward around the goop and gently dropped a towel over the boy's shoulders. The newborn kit had a strange gold coronet amongst the usual fare and he drew it out. "You might want to put this on." He spoke softly, holding the metal headpiece out to him. "And I'll explain everything once you do."

He turned his stare to the towel that now sat around his shoulders before looking back up at the white haired man. Slowly, he took the metal coronet, and as instructed ( and with a natural instinct he hadn't been expecting ) fit it over his head, pulling out some of the hair it held in place until it was comfortably rested.

Some of the fogginess that clouded his mind wore off, and he grabbed the towel from around his shoulders, wiping his himself down as best he could. "Like that?"

Allen nodded quietly as he offered another towel. "Just like that. Welcome to Edensphere, everyone starts out like this. We've all lost our memories here. Your dream is important, from it you can pick a name and find clues to who you are."

A young boy forced into their terrible fate...he didn't feel it was right. He smiled anyways, laying out a journal on the table and a map scroll. "I'm Cross, a medic from WellSpring isle. Do you want some tea and something to eat before I continue?"
