He awoke with a jolt, adrenaline still pumping through him and his heart thumping louder in his ears than before… or at least it seemed that way, now that there wasn't that constant wind around him. Dazed for the moment, he let his mind wander, replaying the images that had snapped him into the waking world. Admittedly, it wasn't the most interesting waking world, either; he was warm, sure, but he was cramped and he couldn't see anything other than a muted colored light, and for some reason he felt that something was incredibly off about this whole arrangement.

Then he noticed exactly what he was breathing -- what it was, he wasn't sure, but it was thick and slimy and definitely not air -- and he reacted

Eyes snapped open as he woke in that breathable and disgusting fluid, and he immediately experienced déjà vu. There was a dull ringing in his mind as his hands sought to break the familiar shell around him. He dug through the crumbling substance as it collapsed around him and sticky goop ran loose.

He didn't like how everything in his mind was still jumbled and hazy from the dream. Wiping at the slick and sticky gunk on his face, he examined his surroundings. Oblong, misshapen egg-like structures surrounded him--he recognized this place but couldn't seem to remember where exactly it was.

But he did remember was Paladin and decided he'd get to him later. Then he vaguely remembered the name he'd originally chosen for himself--Eternity. Bangs gelled together slapped the side of his face when he suddenly turned to search for the guide who was supposed to greet him and the other newborn over there.

Another sibling, was it?

A small boy and a familiar face. Lezard gathered up the towels, pushing the evening's activities to the back burner for now. Two were handed to the younger boy, and another two for the pale-haired man.

"Welcome to Edensphere, and happy birthday," Lezard spoke evenly to the child, but he found himself looking in Eternity's direction and pausing.

"Your chosen name was Eternity, correct? Do you recall where you are, or shall I start from scratch?" He inquired with a grin, pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose. He all ready reached for the starting clothing, the basic tunic and pants, plus a freebie jacket against the cool weather. Thankfully things were warming up again, but he tired of the seasonal changes bringing in the masses with a cold out of clothing misjudgment.
