[Curled up on a few rocks, attempting to get some warmth, Dumbledore had gotten as used to being in the body of a snake as one possibly could. He had noticed that he couldn't converse the way he was used to, and most people were scared of him, so he had taken to keeping himself out of sight.

Hearing someone nearby, he rose up and looked around, spotting Prongs.]

Hello, Prongs, right?

[Prongs looks down at the rather large snake with some surprise. Well, obviously this snake isn't about to fight him. It seems rather... friendly? Again, strange, as most monsters in Edensphere were definately out to kill you.

Wait a moment... He understood the snake?

Cocking an eyebrow, he regarded the snake carefully.]

Uh... Hi. You know me?

[Attempting to blink, something that he discovered snakes could not do, Dumbledore looked down at Prongs and nodded. He realized belatedly that the fact that he was indeed Dumbledore probably wasn't apparently.]

Yes, I know you. It's Dumbledore, Prongs.

[He wanted to say, 'we're from the same place' or 'you were in my memory' but paused, waiting to see if Prongs was going to turn and run.]

...Dumbledore?!

[Of course, that is strange, since Dumbledore is most definately not a snake. Probably some stupid trick of Edensphere. Still, the snake didn't sound like Dumbledore, and just because Prongs might know him doesn't really explain how he can understand him. Even he can hear the flow of hisses that were coming out of his own mouth. He has to ask.]

I can understand you? Can everyone understand you?

Yes. I had found a crystal...

[He figured that was explanation enough for Prongs to understand. No, this was not his normal body, but he assumed he'd get that back soon enough. Or at least he hoped he would.]

Most people run away, actually. You're the first who hasn't.
