Black got a nod, and Rogue made a point to look as unlikely to make sudden moves as possible. He'd hoped to get an elevator with no "robbers" - that was why he was heading down without Biggs as his wing.
Derrick. Huh. The name struck him as odd in some way, which itself was weird. Rogue didn't usually notice the strangeness of names. After a moment he shrugged. Probably not important, and the man didn't look awake enough for a bunch of questions about whether he'd ever flown.

"Was having a weird dream," he then explained to Youth, too tired to even be properly grumpy. "Tea with Bernard and Nannerpus. I think that's all you need to know."

He lightly rose the case towards back and flicked the case open, displaying it, "Thankfully the Mall had what I required to repair it, along with someone to design a case for me. Ah, two seconds should be enough" Enough to put enough distance between them.
He nodded back to Rogue, keeping an eye on him none the less. A name often implied a lot about a person here. Rogue didn't seem to be all that bad, nor did his body give away any reactions.
His eyes briefly glanced up at the counter. When had the elevator stopped moving?
"You should try the danishes at the Bakery," always trying to promote more customers, "Unless you are content with that one."
