When Lost wasn't working at the butcher shop, he found himself taking long walks around the Sphere. He told himself he did this so that he wouldn't get lost, but also, sometimes he just wanted to be alone with his thoughts. And so that was what he was doing in the Scavengers' Yard, walking by the piles of junk and broken items, thinking about things, and occasionally stopping to inspect objects on the ground.

Then he heard someone talking, and he looked up to see a young man digging through the piles of stuff. He walked by, and gave him a sideways glance. "Looking for something?"

Sky was in the process of flipping through an old half a book, which seemed to be a cook book of some sort when the voice startled him and he nearly through it behind him. He hadn't been expecting anyone, especially so soon.

"Huh! Oh no, nothing in particular. Just seeing what I can find." The look of surprise had vanished and he smiled up at the man. He'd never met him before, or at least he didn't remember meeting him, but with memories the way they were in Edensphere he couldn't be totally sure.

"Hi! I'm Sky."

Fred picked her way through the piles of junk, keeping a look out for a few things--mainly books, but she was also supposed to be looking for a small sword now--but mostly just poking around, looking for anything interesting. She had gloves now, which was rather a relief. She was less likely to cut her fingers by grabbing something carelessly when she was wearing them.

She was digging through a random pile of junk--curious to find the item that had caught her eye with its sparkling shine--when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. A vivid memory from a week and a half ago reminded her that the Scavengers' Yard was dangerous, and she looked up quickly, abandoning her digging and getting to her feet before she registered that it was, in fact, not a large, sinisterly beautiful spider, but rather a young humanoid person.

"Erm. Hello."

Sky was flipping through a rather ripped apart cook book it seemed when Fred introduced herself.

"Huh, oh hi!" He hadn't been expecting anyone down there with him, but didn't mind having company.

Fred hesitated for a moment before she picking her way down the pile of stuff toward the young man. "Find anything interesting?" she inquired as she got closer to him, peering at the book he was holding. She couldn't see what it was even at this little distance, but it looked somewhat damaged. "I'm Fred, by the by."

Sky held out the tattered cook book to her as she came over.

" I think its a cook book." He hadn't really cooked before so he wasn't sure about many of the recipes he found in it.

"I'm Sky. It's nice to meet you Fred."

Sora had been down in the yard, looking for parts for the keyblade he was going to attempt making. The thing from his dream... maybe. He remembered how it felt from his first memory--the lightness of the blade and the smooth cold feel of it... He might be searching for a while...

But Sky was ahead and he just happened to have the jacket he bought for him in his bag. "Sky!" He smiled, waving at him as he moved toward the other. "Sky! I didn't expect you here!"

Sky looked up at the sound of Sora's voice and waved at him, using the hand with the cook book.

"Hey did you get my note that I was down here?" He knew that Sora had been out, but he didn't know if it was just by chance they had run into each other or if he had come looking.

"Yeah~" He smiled and pulled out the bright red jacket from his bag. He was wearing a pair of black and beige khakis (yay canon pants) and a sweatshirt that was black and red trimmed "I got you this--its kind of cold, don't you think?"

The coat had yellow trim and a white fur-like substance lining the collar and hood.. even the inside of the coat had a bit of it along the bodice. Nice coat!

Sky's eyes widened at the sight of the coat. Sora didn't have to do that, but he had to admit he loved the coat.

"Thank you I love it but,you didn't have to get me anything." He stood up and put the book down. Making a mental note to get something in return for Sora. He had to admit though it had been getting quite chilly lately and a coat would be very welcome.

00 stepped off of the elevator and looked around the Scavenger's Yard. She had never seen it with her own eyes before, having only fundamental knowledge of its existence and apparent purpose. It looked as though it stretched on forever, though of course that would only be the human eye's limited perception.

She had also learned that items from a person's past could be found here. Her thoughts went to the armored thing of her dream, although she had known that it was a living thing, not an item... or was it? What made a thing alive? But it had been more than a machine....

She noticed a person, a boy about her age, moving through the scrap and refuse. 00 didn't move away from the elevator, merely standing and watching.

Sky continued to scour through the piles looking for something and nothing at the same time. He hadn't noticed the person watching him yet as his attention was fully on his task at hand.

00 continued to watch the boy, wondering what he was searching for. She had no objective down here herself--she had only wanted to see what this area of Edensphere was like for future reference and had no plans to become a Scavenger, nor was she looking for any items from her past.

It was impossible to tell if the boy was here because he was a scavenger or for some other reason. But he did not seem to be collecting any mechanical components or other things that a scavenger might sell. 00 followed him in silence and at a distance, although it was impossible to move through the scrap without making any noise.
