Summary: Taking a break from the recovery efforts, the Hetero Lifemates decide to go exploring, get lost, and bump into a sad Prongs.

Not too far away, Prongs was also stumbling his way through this new island. He had never been here before- actually, he hadn't been in most places since the fire. He had survived, one of the very few that had; but it had come at a great cost, just like most things in the 'Sphere. His house burned down, his journal was destroyed, his precious broom turned to ashe in his hands. Any trace of Laguna had burned in the fire. All Prongs had left was his wand and his Advanced Potions book and any secret the Half Blood Prince had left him. But really, what good has that done for him

"I think we're going in circles," Sky informed Bridge with a sigh. He was starting to get a little antsy; he'd only meant to take a brief break and stretch his legs before getting back to his necessary Guarding duties, and this was taking far longer than it should have.

He then heard someone coming up behind them; turning, he saw who it was, his face breaking out into a smile and waving.

"Prongs!"

"... I think so, too," Bridge sighed, taking off a glove and confirming Sky's suspicious when he waved his arm and saw their own energy signatures walking in almost this exact same direction. "Okay, next time I'll let you choose the way to walk." He could feel the anxiousness coming off of his friend before he put his glove back on. Unlike Sky, however, Bridge was in no great hurry to get back, in part because going back and working just reminded him of what it was like to have to use his powers to look at bodies...

His heart then lightened a bit, and he also waved to Prongs.

At the sight of his two friends, Prongs immediately rushed forward to meet them. It was so nice to see someone familiar, and even better to know that they were safe. He couldn't keep up with the death toll from the flames; it was too much to bear. He had suspected that these two might've been on it. It hardly mattered now, since they were standing quite healthilly right in front of him.

"Spike, Bridge!" Prongs exclaimed when he met them, throwing his arms around the two boys that were like brothers to him. He had to stand on his toes to do it properly, but it felt good to hold them and make sure that they really were there.
