Characters: Bastet (
felinemystique) and Moon (
pretecorrotto)
Date/Time: Wednesday, July 29, afternoon
Location: Somewhere in Section 3
Rating: PG-13 for nudity, and probably profanity
Summary: Bastet pays the price for her most recent memory crystal, and Moon is just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It was following her, she knew it.
Everywhere she went, catnip sprouted from the Tree's branches. It didn't fully affect her in her human form...but the urge to transform was becoming overwhelming. She'd been ignoring it for as long as she could, but it was quickly becoming a compulsion, and the last thing she wanted right now was for her transformation ability to become common knowledge. It was to her advantage to keep that under wraps, after all.
She was in Section 3 now, and it didn't look like she was going to make it home. Shit. She ducked off the path, into a shaded area blocked off by large leaves. Even as she watched, catnip sprouted all around her, the smell becoming cloying.
"Shit," she growled, finally giving in now that she was hidden. She transformed into feline form, letting out a yowl as she rubbed her body against the leaves, her motions bruising them and releasing even more of the scent into the air.
She didn't know how long it lasted--rolling, pawing, purring, chewing--but finally, finally the smell began to subside, and its hold on her eased, just enough for her to transform back into her human form.
Naked was one thing--naked outside against her will was entirely another, and she rolled onto her side with some difficulty, grimacing as one of her shoes dug into her hip. She eyed the way back out of the small hiding space she'd found, letting out a loud groan as more catnip began to sprout. She'd have to pass it to get out--could she manage?
She was sure she was quite the sight; naked, long hair tangled, surrounded by clothes and shoes, her golden eyes glaring at seemingly nothing.
Seriously, was getting her name back worth all this?
